Our Continued Commitments
GT’s Living Foods is united by employees of different strengths, experiences, and backgrounds who all share a dedicated passion for helping people live healthier, happier lives. We aim for our differences to bring us greater understanding and strive to remain open-minded to new information that may further illuminate us.
Recycling and the Benefits of Glass
Every product GT’s Living Foods produces is contained in glass. Why? For one, nearly 100% of all glass breakage is returned to our partner glass manufacturing facility in Illinois to become new bottles and jars. And if you, too, recycle any GT’s Living Foods’ glass—your bottle or jar will, too.
Quality
Glass has a nearly-zero rate of chemical interactions, ensuring that products inside glass containers, bottles, and jars keep their strength, aroma, and flavor. Glass is also 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or purity.
Safety
Glass is certified GRAS by the FDA, or “generally recognized as safe”—the highest standard. Glass is also nonporous and impermeable, so there are no interactions between glass packaging and products—no effect on food or beverage flavor, no after-taste—ever.
Recycling
Glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or purity. Approximately 80% of recovered glass containers are made into new glass bottles, and A glass container can go from a
recycling bin to a store shelf in as little as 30 days.
